How do you age gracefully?
Every woman going through midlife wants to look their best, and that can mean a lot of different things to a lot of different people. We all go through a natural aging process, and understanding it can truly help us feel our best, no matter our age.
In this episode of Midlife Rise + Thrive, I am so thrilled to sit down and chat with Monique Willingham to talk about all things skin and aging gracefully as we journey through midlife.
Despite what we might have heard in mainstream media, we can age gracefully in ways that make us happy with our aging rather than feel like we’re on this downward spiral into nothingness, and Monique is here to explore it with us today.
Monique is a Nurse Practitioner practicing for over 15 years in oncology. She transitioned to a more holistic approach helping patients reduce inflammation, and improve energy and mental clarity using various tools such as IV micronutrients, NAD, glutathione, medical cannabis, and more. She also focuses on skin health and cosmetic injectables.
Topics We Cover in This Episode:
- Skin issues that women encounter as they age
- The best types of collagen for your skin
- How our nutrition can impact our skin
- Why beauty sleep is a real thing
- The five R’s of managing or preventing diseases
- How your skin mirrors what’s going on inside your body
- Some healthy habits to adopt to protect your skin
- The best supplements for skin health
We get to decide as individual women how we want to age and what steps we’re going to take, whether we’re doing injectables or only working from the inside out, it’s our choice. I hope this episode inspires you to take a deeper look into what aging gracefully means to you so that you can take the steps that feel right for you!
