What is shadow work?
Shadow work is a type of therapy that’s been gaining attention online recently, so maybe you’ve heard of it before. I have a lot of questions about shadow work and I figured you might too, so I asked Dr. Elizabeth Berrocal to join us on the Midlife Rise + Thrive podcast to give us a professional breakdown.
In this episode, Dr. Elizabeth explains what shadow work is and how it can help you work through trauma and improve your relationship with yourself. She also touches on other forms of therapy, such as EMDR, and shares why these tools are so valuable in midlife.
Dr. Elizabeth Berrocal is a licensed mental health therapist specializing in trauma and shadow work. Her unique methodology includes delving into the darker side of the psyche, called shadow work, to bring profound healing through the discovery of your self, meaning, and purpose.
