08: How to Have Your Best Sex Life in Midlife with Advice From Dr. Catalina

How to Have Your Best Sex Life in Midlife with Advice From Dr. Catalina

Let’s talk about sex, baby.

No really, I’m joined in this episode by Dr. Catalina to talk all about sex in midlife. We’re running through some common scenarios that women face in their sex lives in midlife and what you can do to reclaim your sexuality and get the sex life you want.

It’s time to challenge the sexual norms that aren’t serving you and take control of your story. Dr. Catalina is sharing practical tips that anyone can use to start getting back in touch with what brings them joy and pleasure. Whether you’re trying to spice up your long-term relationship or get back on the dating scene for the first time in what feels like forever, this episode has something for you.

Dr. Catalina believes that exponential bliss is your absolute birthright. As a licensed psychologist for the past 23 years, she’s worked with individuals affected by the big guns: cancer, terminal illness, and death. Through this work, she’s witnessed the one key factor that motivates people to keep on living: relationships. Relationships are essential to who we are and how we experience life. Unfortunately, sometimes relationships aren’t easy and sex can suck. Dr. Catalina uses neuroscience, psychology, and tantra to help driven women experience ecstasy without settling for sexless relationships.

Topics We Cover in This Episode:

  • Addressing your sexual well-being as you age
  • Challenging sexual norms
  • How to connect to your body
  • Reviving your sex life in a long-term relationship
  • Tapping into your sexuality rather than shutting it down
  • Focusing on pleasure
  • How to explore what you enjoy
  • Dating and having new sexual partners in midlife

I hope this episode reassures you that you’re not alone. What you’re experiencing is super common, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be changed. You do have the power to make a change, you just need the right tools to know how.
